The Silica Analyzer HK-218 is benchtop silica analyser & Silica Analyzer HK-118W is online silica analyser. Silica analyzer measures silica both in potable water and municipal wastewater effluents. It offers reliable and accurate on-line & portable analysis of silica.
The presence of silica in the steam and water circuits of power generation plant is associated with a number of problems both in the super heater and turbine sections.The solubility of silica in stream increases with pressure. The presence of silica in the steam can lead to deposition in super heater tubes and on the turbine blades. Silica analyzer can give a very early warning if silica levels are going out of control & hence is very important analyser.
